Rooted in Cedar Rapids history, we honor the past while shaping modern apartment homes designed for today’s lifestyle. Our thoughtfully restored buildings reflect a balance of character, craftsmanship, and innovation—celebrating where we came from while looking ahead to what’s next.
Originally serving as part of the city’s industrial backbone, our buildings have been reimagined into distinctive living spaces that preserve their historic charm. From original architectural elements to updated interiors, every detail was designed with intention, comfort, and style in mind.
We’re proudly managed by Prestige Real Estate Management, a Cedar Rapids–based company established in 2024. With years of industry experience, our team is dedicated to maintaining a well-cared-for property while creating a welcoming environment where residents feel supported and at home.
The Mott building’s story begins in 1902 as the office and warehouse for the Iowa Wind Mill and Pump Company, a major force in Iowa’s agricultural and industrial growth. From this site along the Cedar River, windmills and pumps were produced and distributed across the region, helping shape the city’s early economy.
Built with classic industrial craftsmanship—brick masonry, heavy timber framing, and expansive windows—the building was designed for both function and longevity. Over the decades, it adapted to new uses while retaining the character that made it a Cedar Rapids landmark.
Today, we honor that legacy through thoughtful restoration, preserving original details while reimagining the space as modern loft-style homes. The result is a place where history lives on—carefully woven into everyday life.
